Back From Kah-nee-ta

I went to Portland to spend time with family and friends and then my Mom, Sister, myself and of course Gracie spent two wonderful days in Kah-nee-ta. Kah-nee-ta is a warm spring resort that has a huge pool that is fed by the springs and there is a little spa there as well. There are lots of summer activities that you can do such as kayaking, hiking and horseback riding. We just hung out at the pool and had massages at the spa… Ahhh… It was wonderful! Grace loves the pool and relishes in the constant attention between the 3 of us swimming with her. My massage was absolutely amazing and I only wish it was two hours long instead of 45 minutes. Oh, and with our package deal we got $10 dollars in Casino money. My sister and I went to the Casino with our free coupons, while G-ma watched a movie with Grace. We won $115.00! WHOOO HOOO!

Kah-nee-ta is a place that Stacey and I would go to often. Sometimes we would go with other friends and even spent the night a few times but most often we would just go for the day. I have so many memories of Stace at Kah-nee-ta that it is a little hard to be there without her. I had lots of time to reflect on the last year, and as the one year anniversary of Stace going to Heaven is this month… I really miss her, but I am finally coming to a place where I can see how God has worked in my life over the past year… But that is for another post. So here is to Stacey and all of the fun memories and here is to being able to live again and making new memories! And here is to Stace again, swimming in The Crystal Sea, wearing her size 6 swimsuit… or maybe she’s NAKED! ;)
